I know the feeling – gripping the armrest, heart racing, and eagerly awaiting for the plane to touchdown.

10 years ago I thought I knew how to cope with anxiety, because I was a therapist after all. I figured white knuckling the whole way there was as good as it was going to get.

But boy was I wrong.

I wish I knew then what I know now so that I didn't dread going on trips so much. 

Today, I own a private mental health practice and I've helped hundreds of people confront anxiety head-on and get more freedom in their life. And in return, I learned about how to overcome my fear of flying too.
